How do I enter?

Go to www.niceheadshot.com, click the "Contest" button and then follow the simple directions and prompts that guide you through the process.
Or, send photo with name, address, telephone number and email address to Nice!Head!Shot!, c/o B2B Portraits, 1706 Washington Avenue, 9th Floor, St. Louis MO 63103, Attention: J. Brown - B2B. Entries must be received no later than Midnight (CDT) on September 15, 2010.

How is the winner chosen?

On or about October 6, 2010 - based on total number of peer votes, the photo that best depicts "when too creative is too much" will be selected as an iPad winner. Likewise, the photo-entry that garners the second highest number of tallies will also be deemed an iPad winner. Additionally, two iPad winners will be randomly selected from a pool of participants who ReTweeted contest information (using the hashtag #b2bniceheadshot) while touting the Nice!Head!Shot! promotion from his or her personal Twitter account.

How will the photos be judged?

Photos will be judged by anyone who enters the contest and gains voting privileges. So, get your friends, family and colleagues to vote on your photo(s) to better your chances at winning. And of course, get your creative ON!!

Can I enter more than once?

Of course! Enter a different photo each time and vote as often as you wish.

Can I enter a professional photograph?

Per the Official Rules: Photos must be taken by entrant, non-professional, unpublished and may not have won any prize or award. Photos must be .jpeg or .bmp image formats and file size should be between 250kb and 2mb. NO post-processed frames, fancy borders, edging, etc. (yes, even that "little black border" or drop shadows)! This is to keep the images in our virtual "gallery" as uniform as possible for ease of peer judging. The whole point is to express your own wildly creative side.

Why won't my photo upload?

Even though our software will accommodate photos of any file size, you may want to start with a reasonable limit of somewhere between 250KB and 2MB.

I can't find my photo! Help!

To ensure fairness, all photos are displayed randomly in the voting section. We encourage you to keep voting until your image appears on the web page.

I select the photo I want to upload on my computer. The thumbnail box is empty and my picture never displays. What do I do?

First, make sure that your computer's Javascript function is enabled and you have Flash 10 installed. If that doesn't do the trick, then close-out of your browser, open a new window and try once again.

When will the winners be announced?

On or about October 6, 2010. Check the website for the list of winners.

What if I missed the entry period?

Sorry, per the official Rules no more entries will be accepted past the submission deadline of 11:59 p.m. (CDT) on September 30, 2010.

How do I delete my photo entry?

Contact the designated administrative rep by calling 800.669.9699 x4108 or emailing your request (including your full name and phone number) to contest@b2bportraits.com to have your submitted photo deleted, allowing at least 48 hours for follow through.

So, what does "when too creative is too much" really mean?

It's pretty much whatever you interpret it to be - going overboard with stylization, too much make-up on the subjects, over-lighting or just a general case of "what the????" anything that as a creative person makes you scratch your noggin'.
